Traveller app - search Exploroz places sorting

In the traveller app when searching Exploroz places I set the sort to ‘From me - near to far’ but as soon as I type a destination into the search field the sort setting is removed and replaced with ‘Search rank’
I cannot set it to ‘near to far’ if there is text in the search field.

I always want to view the closest result to me but can’t see how to.

NB the ‘near to far’ sort works fine on ‘treks’ just not on ‘places’
