@Yackandandah
Hopefully I am doing something wrong. How do I view/sort the threads on this
forum so I am only seeing new & updated threads rather than going thru page after page to see updates? If I go to my account there is a option for new/updated threads, but what I see is not correct. I use the “mark page read” before exiting.
Thanks, Kevin

On the
Forum page click Search & Options and then click the Response Time button.

Then click the checkbox for auto-expand to "Un read".

I've tried that. It still puts previously read threads before new/updated ones.

That's as good as you can get on this
forum, I'm afraid.
Only half joking here, but if you use the above and read the unread threads from the bottom up, the most recent unread threads will always be at the top.
LOL or not, as required :-)
EDIT: Something I think I have noticed but am not 100% sure about ... If a poster edits a post in a thread you have read the thread may move to the top but not show the Update icon. Can anyone confirm, deny or elaborate on that?
Cheers

Kevin there are two ways that you can sort the threads, ThreadID (the order the threads are created) and Response Time (the time order the threads had something done to them.) Reading a thread (or part of a thread) does not alter the order they appear in the
forum, all reading them does is to remove the "Updated" indication. reading does not change the order or hide the read threads like it does with other types of
forum software.
You will just have to learn to cope with it.
