Hi everyone - we are heading up north to Yuragir NP in August.
Wanted to pull the campervan into
Bellingen and
camp for a few days on the way.
Not planning to go to
New England NP this time.
Have you got any favourite sites around
Bellingen?

Ay Zedjay,
Coupla spots near to Bello, Nice
picnic area at
the Promised Land, about 15 minutes north. You could
camp there. Most of the countryside near rivers etc is privately owned farmland so it's difficult to find a real pretty spot that's accessible for camping.
Thora valley and Kalang valley are pretty for a drive. Nice drive into
Bellingen from Macksvilly via Bowraville.
There are plenty of other spots good for camping but not so close to
Bellingen. Platypus Flat would be more than an hour away, on the
Nymboida River. Pretty cold at the moment though.

We're pretty flexible on where to goPlatypus Flat sounds good -- the port will keep us warm.
