G'day everyone.
I'm looking at replacing some sad looking front leafs on a '93 ln106 diesel and just want to see if anyone's done it before and got recommendations for brands. Looking for a 2" lift to match the old ones.
Cheers

Ever thought about getting your existing springs reset?

I think the ones on here are too far gone, they're basically upside down after a few weeks on corrugation. Might be an idea if I can't find parts though ??

Reset springs normally loose their reset after an short period, particularly if worked hard.

We had an ‘82 dual cab Hilux & after a year or two, put a set of Lovells under it. The transformation was amazing, rode
well with plenty of clearance. Don’t recall what shockies I used, but may have been Monroes?

You might be able to fit coil springs for a better ride

The front springs on the earlier Hilux's often went reverse camber, toyota leaves never broke though just sagged.
You may find it cheaper in the long run to buy a replacement
suspension kit on , I fitted a full kit for a later model Hilux with IFS including all new fastenings , U bolts, shocks and bushes etc which was just a bolt on job for around $1300 including shocks and bushes. It was on ebay and I rang and discussed the normal loading with the seller and he suggested a lighter pack than what was on offer, sorted it all out and it turned up a few days later.
It's now been fitted for a couple of years and hasn't sagged and still rides
well.

Thanks mate sounds like a good option. I didn't think they would be snapping any time soon but it's riding low enough to hammer on my steering on the bumps. Will look for an upgrade that'll last :)

Even cheaper now see item 253180570188 on ebay.
As I said the kit I used had greasable shackles and wasn't much more but it was leaves at the rear and struts with coils at the front.
