I found an archived post about these phones. I've just bought a few phones on E-bay and one of them is PIN-locked. The seller had bought them at an auction and isn't able to provide a PIN. Does anyone know a bypass?

Probably a silly answer but im sure you have tried the normal factory setting 0000!!!!

yes, I've tried all obvious ones (0000, 1111 etc. to 9999)...

I think the factory setting is 1234, but the setting on the phone may have been changed ?

It's 4 digits.
My fax number is 02 6236 6059 (the same line as my internet connection, so it's tied up while I'm online).
But I have the manual, and it tells you how to set, but not what to do when you forget (or never knew), the PIN. So thanks for the offer, but unless your manual is different for
mine, I fear it will not solve the problem.
I found an "answer" on another website, which basically said that only a dealer can reset it. How many $$$$ will that cost...

There is a web (Pirate) site called astalavista.box.sk which has a link to mobilephone hacking sites.
I don't have access to it from work so can't
check if it has any info on this phone, but give it a try.
btw. there is no WWW in that web site addy.
