Not sure David, I think I like it the old way. The number of views to the posts brings up interesting stats.

I like it like this - I was thinking that the page was getting too long when looking at all the posts on the summary page. I like them skinnier - just like Jen.

Although I like the responses out on their own on the left.. MUCH easier to see there.... :(

Do you mean the response data on the left. ie: Response: X and date/time stuff. It was this stuff that caused the page to get soo long. Mate I do not what to keep changing it it is a pain working out where to place everything.

When I started this look I was not convinced until I completed it and had seen it for a few hours. The major new members time selection features is very cool however and makes reading and moderation activities heaps easier. If you want to suggest a different layout I will certainly listen. Let see what the masses say!

Yes responses on the side would be a good compromise, little too much to read horizontally, but I agree you'll get use to it.

cheers

I'm with John on this one. I liked it before when all the relevant info was in one little block and the eyes didn't have very move far. Now my eyes are having to look at the post date then down and across 2 thirds of the screen. The update on the new post feature for members is cool and I'll probably take advantage of it from now on.

Heaps better I reckon, easy to see what the post is doing stat wise, I didn't even look at the stats previously.

Two days I've been a cashed up member( I couldn't look at myself in the mirror any more...hehe) and the site has got even better!!!

Hmmmm.......

I like the look and the slimmer layout BUT.... I find the colour band at the bottom of each post header where the stats are a bit of a distraction. When looking at the screen at a high resolution where I can see about 10 posts at a time it comes across as really banded and I find it harder to read the subject headings that should be the most prominent and easiest part to read.

Perhaps you could try it without that banding for a while? It think the cell borders would be enough to separate the posts.

Just my 8 cents a day's worth

Muddy

Not sure David, I guess change takes getting used to, and yes there have been a few especially the Member changes all of which have been good.

I just thought it is a little hard on the eyes as Muddy said with the bands.

Cheers
