Anyone done this trip or the
Mundrabilla to Forrsest track? Like to have any info about these or trips along the access track.
All we really want to do is have a couple of days in
Forrest.

This is a couple of years ago, but the trip along the access track is generally easy going and interesting.
We travelled from Kalgoorlie via Zanthus and
Rawlinna to
Haig Siding, and then took a track south to join the highway just east of Cocklebiddy. That last bit was pretty tough - very rocky and hard on tyres, and the track disappeared a few times - but you really just have to be careful and follow the compass south.
On a previous trip we dropped down from the Anne Beadell "Highway" at
Voakes Hill corner and joined the access line at
Cook to travel along via
Tarcoola to
Kingoonya. Fantastic trip.
Or if you'd enjoy a "mini Simpson" get a permit to take
Googs track down to
Ceduna.
If you enjoy your own company, that whole area is a fantastic part of the country,
