A short film from our last journey to Tassie.
Cape Hauy is an amazing hike 9.4 km with outstanding
views.
Camp at Fortescue Bay (2 wd drive access and must book a site ). The hike starts from the
camping area which is suitable for all types of rigs eg vans , camper trailers and tents. Fortescue Bay itself is picturesque and good fishing if you have a boat.
Cheers Mike and Kendra .

Fabulous scenery isn't it :-)
For those unfamiliar with this area, there's a four day "3 Capes" walk option with hut accommodation (payment required) .... or you can do the other two capes (
Cape Raoul and Cape Pillar) as individual day walks.
It is a spectacular area, and if you do
Cape Raoul you can take a detour to the famous surf break at Shipstern
Bluff - when conditions are right, big wave surfers from all over the world head there.
Tassie is a beautiful state, with many surprises!!
