Hi All,
I currently run Oziexplorer on a Samsung tablet with a 32Gb microsd card holding all the map files, ozf files and a pile of my music. It takes up most of the card.
I would like to get EOTopo and put the maps onto the same card - but there ain't enough space. I bought a 64Gb card and copied all the map files etc onto it. I can see all 64Gb in the Files app on the tablet but Ozi seems to be having some issues. I can't find the folder with the maps.
am I missing something? Does Ozi have issues with 64Gb cards? Do I have to format the card in the tablet first?
bit lost
cheers

' I can't find the folder with the maps.' Do you mean 'It', as in Ozi, crucial difference. Don't know Ozi, EOT you have to download the maps again. Some map systems you simply point it to the folder, if Ozi doesn't do this then I suspect you have to reload?

Why are people asking questions and pushing Oziexplorer on the ExplorOz
forum?

I think the Exploroz
forum is about travellers and their experiences. Yes, David and Michelle also produce EOTopo mapping software but that does not mean that members of the
forum should not ask questions about other mapping software. Some of it has been around longer that EOTopo probably (and maybe some of them are a bit long in the tooth).
Anyway - just asking a question - not pushing anything.
cheers.

Dick
This
forum is open the any question and why not ask about a question relating to OziExplorer?
This
forum is not about supporting EO related products and if you followed it closely, it has lost a lot of its appeal with constant questions relating to ongoing problems and issues with the EO traveller app.
If you follow Facebook a member has given a scathing attack on the EO Traveler app, so it’s good to see something else on the
forum that does not relate to problems that seem to be ongoing.
There is a very wise old saying….if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
Yes the EO MAP is great, but unfortunately no good to me anymore as I only use OziExplorer and can not use them, so perhaps to get more business, they could release their map to use in other mapping software,

I was using it on a tablet a few years back, at that time I had a few 1gig cards around so it was probably one of those.
