Hi all,
I am interested in reading RV travellers experiences with Startlink RV, while travelling
Cairns to
Perth, Great Aust Bight, Nullarbor Plains, the Flinders Rangers or anywhere in between.
Regards
Peter.

I thought that this was a reasonable, balanced review after 12 months on the road, provided you skip the bit at the end promoting the flat out multi reel:

SL works
well, provided that you have a reasonably clear view south. You still need a phone with data for those times when you don't.

have seen it in use in my travels , seems very good as usual needs clear view of the sky and clouds / storms limit its effectiveness , uses similar power to a 200litre 12v fridge . cost can be a consideration ..
Hard to prevent the dish being stolen ..

I’ve had it for several mths and have used it at most camps I’ve been to.
It is very good, but does drop out regularly for a second or two but I don’t even notice it.
Ive even set it up with 30m high trees nearby with filtered
views between the trees but it still worked
Apparently, gamers find this annoying but I can’t tell it has dropped out unless I
check on the stats
