Hi all
Sorry if this was asked before, but I'm new to this...
I have the full maps on my phone...I understand u can then have it on more than one device...
So, on my computer/laptop, how do I go about installing it on there without paying again? Every time I want to open the
EOTOPO maps, I have to download and pay. I have done that on my phone already...?
And also...is there some kind of app I can put on my homepage and then just click on it to open the maps??
thanks in advance
Arno

Provided you are using the same operating system (all Android or all Apple or all Windows), you can have it on multiple devices. IF you have a Apple and a Andoid device you will need two licenses. I personally have it across two phones and a Tablet (all the one OS)

Contact the Help Desk is my next suggestion, but you will be able to run it across multiple devices on the same OS

Arni, you have to pay for a subscription per operating system. You do not seem to have grasped that, yet you are still asking to get a second download on a non-Android android laptop.

Peter...like I've said...im brand new to this mapping system and that's why I have asked as I didn't know.
But Mark was so kind to explain to me...and now I know. Not like u that have to nitpick on me and ask me silly questions!?
So end of....tks and goodbye??

Arni, btw there is an Android emulator for Windows called "Bluestacks". While resource demanding, it will happily run EOT (earlier versions anyway). Now that there's a Web version of EOT, the only reason to go that route is if you want to use the program on your computer offline. I don't have a GPS dongle for my laptop so never attempted to use it for navigation. You'd need a vehicle with a lot of cabin real estate or be a solo traveller to go down that path!

If you only want to use EO Traveller on your laptop for planning, as long as you are an ExplorOz member you can use the web version without the need for need to purchase the Windows version of the app.
