Looks like about 93 mb loaded for maps and 22 mb for app.

That’s an old iPad, how much Ram does it have?? And are you able to update the software??

Minimum size would depend on what you want to load.

You don’t need 2019, 2021 maps, best to delete them if you have them loaded, save some space. If you intend to load the hi res map pack, contours, shading etc you will need around 9Gb.
