Is there anyone else around who can remember going to this event. I found these today in my camper.

If anyone from Vic was there maybe they would like to call in at coffee club on the 15th and catch up as a few that were there like coffee and a bit of BS.

Yep.

Organized by Dave B and his lovely wife Nora.

Was a great trip watching Bonz kill his GU motor and Little Wez's Rocky being towed through some gnarly tracks back into Broken Hill for some repairs.

Might need to organize another National Gathering now the "Covid" restrictions have all but gone :)

Cheers Kev

Kev

I had forgot about the Rocky and bush mechanics to get it going back in Broken Hill. I thick it finally died with a engine fire up in the hill country.

Certainly do, was a great gathering and put faces to names.
We still stay at Penrose whenever out that way, earlier this year they were upgrading a lot of it and spending quite a bit of money, long overdue.

Fiona and I were there, this was our first national gathering. We are regular Silverton visitors as I worked in Broken Hill in the early 70's. If I recall correctly there was a severe dust storm, maybe on the Saturday, because we decided to leave early when we could see it heading our way. I have some photo's, somewhere!

Hi Paul
I do recall a big blow during the night as there was a bit of damage done to my groups tents and annex's and chairs deen strewn about.
