Some question/answers seem to refer to a gq list. Is there a special
forum for different makes and models of 4x4 or is there just the one
forum.

Quite a lot of forums some Manufacturer related & some Model related.
Try a search on Yahoo under 4x4 or SUV

Um truckster,in case you havent noticed mate , there is plastic in the 60,80 and 100 series tojo's,,,,,,plus plastic does not rust.
Had a 80 series it rusted out after 6 years,then went to a GQ and never had any,now own a GU and enjoy over taking the 100's and towing them
home!!!!!!!!!

Um if you havent realised theres a ton more plastic in a GU or 100 or anything new compared to anythign old.
whats a GU bumper made of? Same as the breadbox? PLASTIC...
