I had my injectors done 20,000 km ago , under acceleration as revs get higher and pedal gets closer to the floor it starts to blow lots of smoke , i re-alinged the pump timing marks and this made a slight improvement , as the smoke gets worse it seems to lose power , harder to breath , could it be possible my mechanic has turned up the flow rate and if so how can i reduce it , also fuel econmey has gone out the window i used to get 330 km from the sub tank now i get 280 km ,any help greatly appreciated

Mate,
Far too technical for me to comment on other than to suggest that if it was mine, after 325,000klm, I'd be shouting it a full expert tune-up. Injectors have been done, but pump would need to be overhauled and re-callibrated etc. If it's a turbo model, I would think that may need a bit of a tweak too by now. It could cost you a few hundred bucks (maybe even a grand!!!), but it would be money well spent I would imagine.
Good luck.

With that many kms I would suggest that your injector pump would be due for reconditioning. 250,000kms is pretty common for the 1HZ.

Hi Sockoh
Check the cheaper parts first
Air intake system and air filter
Exhaust for damage or blockage
tappet settings
