I am thinking of fitting either Cooper S/T or Bridgestone D694. Looking at posts most people seem to favour 285/75R16, what is the main advantage of this size over the 265's. Has anyone put any serious kilometres on the D694's yet?

In my humble opinion you can't go past the Cooper AT 265x75x16 for wagons as the 75's are 8ply -if you have a ute and carry very heavy loads then go the 10 ply so you can pump em up harder - but for the wagons the 8 ply are more than adequate.
The Bridgestones have yet to prove themselves and you know what happens to pioneers? They get arrows in their backs!!!

Hi Peter
Thanks for your response. I was surprise no one had anything to say about the Bridgestones. Have decide to get Cooper ST 265/75/16 as i live on a property and have to travel 40 k's on dirt roads whenever going to town.
cheers Dave
