Yep, and a peek at
windy.com (my go-to) for the next few days shows the stream through NT and northern SA.
GCR and Ood Track will be wet.

GIbb River Rd closed tomorrow -27th and Fitzroy Xing by Wednesday. Two tropical cloudmasses skirting the
Kimberley area. The outback in for a drenching.

G'day
Explorers
No one can do anything about the weather, but the lazy way things are being put forward these days regarding place names, which are being changed and no one seems to care or more likely people just don't know, in this case the Official weather report clearly states the
Great Sandy Desert as the 'Sandy Desert' as far as I know all deserts across Australia are sandy or stoney Deserts and many have or are vegetated, so can these possibly become just a bushy desert.
I've noticed a gradual trend where the change of a place name has been accepted effectively changing recorded historical fact.
YouTube warriors have much to do with this wrong information and it is near impossible to have it corrected.
Safe travels : Joe

That's apart from the altering of historical records.
