In one quick week mine managed to dent one door and snap of one window weathershield. And to top it off i couldn't work out why every time i plugged the car fridge in it tripped th inline fuse. I was going crazy and as a last resort took the socket apart and found foil lolly wrappers acting as a perfect short between power and earth. I took them ten pin bowling just to get them out of the car lol........but i still love them.

Hi Brew take them for a trip to Oodnadata and leave them behind for a break, I hear the town looks after them well in the absence of parents ? LOL

Might try it in september when the next lot of holidays start. I used to work on stations in the Gawler Ranges and beyond and lost a dog whilst mustering a paddock at the north end of Lake Everard. Spent ages looking for it and gave up. Tourists found it 3 weeks later. I fear my kids would have similar survival instincts lol

Hey Mr Pest (I'm up late tonight!) - when did the parents come back to pick up that kid in Oodnadatta, last I heard it was 7 hours and still no-one arrived. THEY DID COME BACK, didn't they? You can tell your friend Mr Roach that we ended up with 6 Ultimates that night!!!!! Another two came later. (He'll be very very excited). Rang up a boat place today - gosh it was exciting, be even better if we get to go fishing down your way in February, hey?

Gosh Ruth you are up late, nearly as late as when I was there, LOL
Yes according to a post by Mr Lexic they did come back and all was well.
Sounds great about the boat, now all we have to do is find some water with fish under the boat? You can pick it up when you come down to Robe in Nov. !!!

Ah yes the joys of children, was one myself once.
No kids here though.
The evidence has always been too damning.
When the better half gets clucky we go to Coles on a Sat morning for some therapy.
Instant fix.

It not all bad John. There is no greater love than a parent has for their kids. My kids drive me nuts at times but I will defend them with my life.

Ray,
I know what you mean mate. I seem to spend a lot of time yelling at my 3 boys, but I love them to their very core and I'd be devastated if anything were to happen to any one of them.
