I would appreciate any
feedback with any members who know or have owned a Goldstream 1200 Mini off road van. We like that it is so short but just wondering if it is capable of roads such as the Gibb (if driven sensibly, tyre pressures, speed, etc,) Thank you
David

We've had 2 Goldstream vans. First was a wind-up camper we towed over the Gibb etc. Not a bad piece of equipment.
Then after a break when we had other stuff we bought a Goldstream 2 berth van and had nothing but trouble.
Dealer was an absolute shit although we'd bought 3 vans off them and Goldstream would do nothing until I took legal action.
It boiled down to just shocking bad
suspension assembly (and other faults I won't go into) but a good technician fixed it and we've still got it years later.
I'd say Yes they're quite capable of doing the GRR etc, at sensible speed and with lowered tyre pressures, just make sure you get it checked over properly after buying it.
Good lcuk.

Don't only have the
suspension checked David, but the wheel as
well. Ours were so badly made they couldn't even be balanced. Utter crap but cheap.
Get it fixed as ours is now and you'll enjoy it.
