Hi
we are heading to
Adaminaby from Qld in mid Nov and will be staying at Blue
Waterhole on the way down. Last time we were down that way (2001) the road/track through to the
Cotter Dam was closed to traffic.
Is this still the case?

If going W from
Canberra follow the Brindabella Tk up to the quirkily named Picadilly Circus. Then down a narrow and winding
hill past the Brindy property
gate. The section of track on their land to get to Cooleman was close off 3 decades or more ago. So follow Brindy Tk west to Barnetts Rd and go left. Join Bramina then follow until you hit the
Long Plain Rd at the base of
Peppercorn Hill. Up the switchbacks under the 330 kV powerlines. Go left onto
Blue Waterholes FT and you're nearly there.
