And also Opposite Lock , which are probably made by one of the above manufacturers.

Why not make one?? I use a quality polyprop tarp, sew a pocket along one side for a 20mm dowel, 2 telescopic tent poles from Outdoor
Shop, & a couple of guys & pegs.
The poles are rolled in the tarp, and roll held with a couple of double sided velcro straps.
By punching a few brass eyelets at the right positions, the unit is attached to the roof rack with cable ties.
Takes 2 minutes to erect & 3 minutes to roll up. I have used this system for a few years now (and it even has had favourable comments on the tracks).
Its not a permanent fixture to the vehicle, and can be easily removed/refitted as required.
Oh! and to stop the wind from fraying the leading end, I put an old sock on it.

I have found this on Ebay, looks interesting, I got them to send me some bugger pictures. Looks to be the ass about way to the way I would like it to mount, but still for the price it's deffinatally the cheapest option I've see by far.
Ebay Listing
About $120 A$ plus delivery from US. Might be worth a look.
