GU bucket seats

Hi,

Thanks for the the reply for the GU bucket seat question. The next one is since they just bolt into the DX how easy are they to come by?? I will be after a GU passenger bucket seat and a center console to put into a 2002 DX ute, have I got buckleys??

Well surely, since these things (4WD's, SUV's or whatever they're called) are so dangerous, & keep falling over all the time (or so we're told), there must be plenty of 'em in wreckers' (sorry, "parts recyclers") yards everywhere....

jokes aside, have you tried the (4wd) wreckers?? That's the first place I'd be looking...

I'd try a mob like SAAS or the Geelong seat mob, Parataus and see if they sell off the second hand seats they replace.

Don't forget about the compliance plate. In Qld you need one to reduce the seat capacity as well as to increase it. Better check your state regs.
