Hi all,
well I have kept my promise and become a member, I was impressed with the support with my first post re stolen truck I think it is important that we all support this site and the great info we all like to get things for free but some times its better to dig a bit deeper into those pockets.
Unfortunately there has been no news of my beloved cruiser,I have just finished getting all the paper work organised for the Insurance company the 14 days is up this Friday, so I guess I will be looking for a new truck, or I should say a secondhand one ???? No picture till then !!!
Cheers
Barry.

Barry,
Sorry there has been no positive outcome to your missing truck as yet. Can only hope that the thing falls off it's jack and squashes the mongrel/s who pinched it.
Hope you can get a decent rig with your insurance payout.....you might have to lower your sights and make do with a patrol?? lol
Good luck mate

Steve, I think Roachie was having finger control on keyboard problems again. He didn't mean lower your sights, he really meant scraping the bottom of the barrell.LOL

Welcome Barry!!!

Unfortunate about the truck, makes me think twice about the cheaper alarm systems I was looking at, think it may be worth putting the better one in.

Hope you get plenty of the green stuff from your insurer to get a nice new shiny beast. You deserve it!

Cheers

Chris.

Welcome on board Barry. I'm sure that if the insurance company comes up short, Roachie will be able to coff up the difference

Welcome aboard Barry. Sorry to hear about the loss of your cruiser. I had my 80 series broken into years ago and had items such as GPS stolen. I was as angry as a cut snake, can't imagine how maddening losing the whole vehicle would make you.

I avoid taking my vehicle out at night when it has to be street parked now, simply too much in it for the thieves. Its a damn shame that one has too consider what the low lifes might do when simply going out for a meal etc.

Cheers

Captain

Barry, welcome aboard indeed. The showings of my friends in South Australia would have indicated there is a little bit of give and take amongst the support you can get as a member. I look forward to your new rig pic when you want to put a representative one on.

Friend Eric is quick on the draw when it comes to things being pinched and has a real interest in supporting friends as he did that night thinking he may have seen yours.

Barry,
Have been keeping a look out but there are so many bl&*dy white ones out there. Is there one distinguishing feature that would make it easier to spot quickly????

Barry,
Will keep an eye out for the roofrack, thought I was close the other day but the vehicle turned out to be light grey. Hope things work out

Welcome Barry, Shame about the loss, but the support from the mob here is renowned, and you'll have a good time getting to know and meeting EO'ites from about the place.
