Can someone tell me Policeman's Beach (or
Waterhole) is at
Innamincka?
I have several maps of the area but none show this.
I've stayed at Cullyamurra and
Ski Beach on past trips and I'm looking for somewhere as an alternative this time.

Both Ski &
Policemans Point are near Minkie
Waterhole. Turn off is 4km west of
Innamincka.

Once you take the Policeman's turn off (see above, but it is signposted from the 15 mile track), there will be a fork a little way in - stay to the right.. just as you descend down a slope to the water, is another fork - go left here for a grouse
camp site - protected from inland winds, flat ground to
camp on (good size), and almost at water level (unlike many of the other sites). Very private too ;-)
