Hi guys and gals
I know its probably been discussed, but I cant find anything in the archives. Could you tell me where some of you have installed an ARB air compressor in the engine bay of an 80 Series cruiser.
Cheers Cruisin

G'day Cruisin,
Although I'm not a cruiser owner (as everybody knows anyway), I have 2 things to say that may or may not help.
1) I am dead against the idea of putting them in the engine bay due to dust and moisture issues; even though I know quite a few blokes who have them there and don't seem to have any worries.
2) There is a small flat step under the squab (sp??) of the 2nd row of seats. That step was put there for the use of the 3rd row passengers and if you have a cargo barrier or aren't likely to need to use that step for it's intended use, I have seen a compressor mounted there. The one I saw was a "Big Red" which may not be as high as an ARB unit, but it wouldn't be too much different. That would be my suggestion as it keeps it in the main interior in a spot that otherwise isn't used for anything and can be reached easily.
Just my 3 cents worth.
