Hello, I am pondering where to fit my Codan 9350 auto tune and Codan 9323 radio to my 2023 D-Max X Terrain.
It has a bullbar and just the normal tray with roller fitted.
Has any one any suggestions on where to place them.
Am I better off just fitting the antennae when I need it for trips and having the radio in a weather proof case and connecting that when needed, I did have them permanatly mounted in my 120 Prado and found it very convenient.

Do you have a Tub or a Tray? You mentioned a roller fitted. Not usual to have a roller on a Tray. I would NOT fit the autotune to the bullbar but have it on a frame/ bracket at rear of cab so it will be up high and away from bullbar vibes. If mounted on a pinned hinged bracket, it can then be folded rearward when not used. Can the radio itself be under the rear
seat where fairly direct access can be performed through the rear of cab and coax and control wiring, straight up to the autotune unit.

It is fitted with a tub.
I was was cleaning the car today and saw the space under the rear seats and thought that would suite the main unit.
I will need to
check on a mount for the antennae.

Please don't use that term here. Antennae is a plural noun and is what you find on insects. In the radio field we have an antenna or antennas.

For my UHF aerial I have a simple plate which is held by two 6mm socket head set screws. Using a T handle hex tool it simply unscrews to an alternate horizontal position.
The lock pin and hinge arrangement could be fairly easily made to adapt the Codan Autotune to fold, if not commercially available.
