I'm heading to
Darwin this week with the family, have been told that
Litchfield Park is almost inaccessible due to a plague of bats... Not what I wanted to hear as I've been talking it up to the kids. Has anyone been there recently, can you confirm/deny this claim.
Any info appreciated

Good morning Blue
Spent the whole day there yesterday with the family.....visited
the Lost City,
Wangi Falls & some other spots..returned to
Darwin via gravel road from
Litchfield to Berry Springs & crossed the Finnis River .....DIDN'T SEE 1 BAT IN THE TIME WE WERE THERE, approx 8 hrs......there have been problems at
Mataranka with bats , not sure if there still are there in plague proportions...
Cheers...Don

Yep the bats at
Mataranka were bad in June. Did not see one at Lichfield.
