Troopy Travellers (NSW)
We planning to go to the Show at Kariong, any ideas for a place to
camp overnight, I can see one at Patonga on the net but wonder if there is anywhere else?.

There's a
camp gound at
Putty Beach, but pretty spartan stuff -
toilets and water and not much more. You get there by heading past McMasters and on to Kilcare. The turnoff is to the left on the winding road leading into Kilcare.
If you take a short walk north across the beach there is a pretty nice boarded clifftop walk around the rocks with some nice
views.

Could you tell me when the show is on please.
If you have kids the best camping/caravn ground I have used in the
ocean beach caravan park.
Right the water, kids playgrounds etc.

This site has powered and unpowered sites and can be seen as you climb the
hill on the way to patonga. Patonga would be a bit quiter thou. Another ption is Ettalong Beach caravan park.
