Would anyone out there be able to give me a approximate value on a 1997 4.2 Diesel Nissan GQ Patrol wagon with 188,000km on the clock. It's got long range fuel tank, snorkel, dual battery system, cargo barrier, storage draws, air con, towbar (2800kg with 200kg ball wieght), electric brake controller, OME Springs with 2" lift, bullbar & driving lights. A old leg injury and change of family situation, (6 people and 5 seats don't work to well when going anywhere together) are forcing me to sell it once we have a second vehicle and picking up something more suitable for around town driving for work.

Any indication of its value would be very helpful.

Many thanks

Don C.

PS: The vehicle is based in Brisbane and has never done any beach work or very heavy off road work in its entire life. Full servoice history showing servicing every 5,000km with the vehicle.

4.2 GQ update, lots of goodies, full service history. Sell private I would expect somewhere in the $20,000 region, check www.redbook.com.au. Don't go to dealer, better to find another "enthusiast" such as yourself who will appreciate it more.

donc I reckon $21,319 would be a fair price, but you should be able to jockey around that amount, maybe a bit more, I would take up Erics offer, or go buy the 4x4 trader and see what the markets talking.

Bloke in our club traded his 97 4.2 petrol in and got $22k! on a new GU TD6. They sold it the next day for $26,995.

Being Diesel, and late model it will be worth good coin. I would guess with those low klms easily $22k.

Having another read of it, I would guess $25k with all the extras.

Then again, GU 4.2 DX's are going for round $32k-35k now but thats no accessories.

Its just finding a buyer on the day.

I have just brought a 96 RX diesel. It has 206,000 km, warn winch, turbo, B and T- Bar, 1.5" lift kit, UHF radio and full service history. I paid $18,000 for it, which I thought was a good deal. Somewhere around $20,000 for yours is in the ball park.

Cheers,
Jeremy
