Hi, can anyone confirm that the new Toyota Troop Carrier 5seat RV Turbo Diesel DOES NOT have Independent Front
Suspension. We are coming back to Aus and towing a van around
the block and that is our tow vehicle of choice. The site says not, but others we have spoken to says it does have IFS.
Thanks

The new Troopcarrier definetely does not have independant front
suspension. It has solid axles front and rear, with coil springs up front and leaf springs in the rear. Cheers.

Thanks rodeoowner. Just as we suspected. Does anyone have any thoughts about the viability of this vehicle for towing a heavy off road caravan?

I saw one yesterday, a new spanker at the
Mareeba Rodeo, definately not I.F.S. on the front, the owner was real impressed with the performance,
dam thing even had electric windows..on a troopy.. now thats getting a bit soft..
as for a tow vehicle, would be hard to beat..if set up right.
