My old man has a 95 petrol/lpg jackaroo. He is having problems with it splutering & cutting out. It mainly happened when just after filling up. It has been back to the lpg place 3 times & they can't find anything wrong with it or the petrol pump. They think it is electrical. He has just now had the 3 electronic units & leads replaced for the cylinders. Still having the problem, could it be a sensor? Any ideas.
Cheers

A fair while back now, had a coughing and spluttering problem whilst on gas, found it to be a loose earth on one of the myriad of connections on the gas side. Also found that I had to
shop around for an expert on gas.

Well they finally found the problem with my fathers Jack.
It was a non return valve that was letting fuel leak into the carbon canister & when it got a build up it woul trickle down the manifold & flood it.
It was only the fact that they lifted the bonnet & heard a boiling sound coming from it that they found it.
The people in Vic that sent up the part had never heared of this valve failing before?
Cheers
