Remember that song "Meet me at the mission at Midnight"???... the chorus goes...
"Everybody knows.... the world is full of stupid people".....
my brother-in-law works at a car sales yard here on the
Gold Coast.... the other night the people in the takeaway
shop adjacent distubed a guy skulking around the cars, mostly imported jap things like Soarers and Skylines etc.... next morning one of the cars is missing an exhaust! So my bro-in-law and his chief checked the surveillance video.... theres the guy loading the exhaust into the rear of his.......
wait for it......
company van, which even if the camera hadn't of caught the number plate on film, the company name and telephone number on the side of the van was a dead giveaway.......
A couple of phone calls saw the guy sacked and the exhaust returned.

Reminds me of a smart couple of lads who thought they would tie a chain around an Eftpos machine and rip it out of the wall.
All they achieved was their bumper bar got ripped of so they drove away leaving their licence plate attached to the bumper bar.
How smart is that.

Reminds me of a bloke I used to work with about twenty-five years ago. At the time this bloke was right into the Ford GTHO's and was building up an imitation one in his backyard. The only thing he really needed at the time (bodywork wise) was a bonnet.
So he goes down to a Kmart
carpark here on
Brisbane's southside where he finds another XY Falcon done up like a GTHO. Being the wiz with a spanner he manages to pop the bonnet and undo the nuts an bolts that hold it on.
The next thing you know, here he is walking out of the
carpark with arms outstretched holding this bonnet above his head. Not two minutes later a cop car pulls up beside him and as they say the rest is history.
Turns out that most of the parts on his newly rebuilt look-a-like GTHO were all stolen as
well. The boys in blue had a field day.
Swerv...
