Any recommendations for the purchase of a 4wd vehicle. Looking for reliability and resale value. Probably thinking Toyota. Appreciate any advice.

Hi, Toyota will probably have the highest resale, followed by Nissan, Mitsubishi etc... Depends if you are buying new or second hand as well... All of the current mainstream vehicles are very reliable as a whole, although they will all have their individual weaknesses and glitches at some stage.

Sorry Bill, you've been had. Replace each letter in "hpsbo" with the preceding one and what do you get?

I have been using this forum for a very short time, but in that time i have come to realise that....this so called person named GORAN is a childish wanker, who obviously has nothing better to do than waste his own time and everyone elses...he is doing nothing but degrading what is a very good quality forum...

Well said Goran! I agree a entirely. I also agree with your sentiments on Landrovers and their poor performance and unreliability.

May I suggest we need to be a bit careful with the accusations.
There seems to be some evidence that someone (or some people) is/are using this forum in a childish way. There also seems to be some evidence that the same person(s) might be using Goran's identity for their own immature pleasure. Rightly or wrongly, Goran has always been quite outspoken with his ideas and does not need to hide behind this kind of coded pseudonym.
So, whilst I do not agree with the sentiments expressed in a number of Goran's earlier posts, I don't think we should automatically assume that it's him again. The only one who can have any certainty is David, and he is trying desperately to put a stop to this stuff. We can help by not inflaming the situation unnecessarily. This is a free forum, so by all means debate (or argue!) the toss but let's not start another war.
Cheers, Cruiser.

By the way, I agree with Winaje's reply. Regardless of whether he's been 'had', if we treat questions at least somewhat seriously (or ignore them if there are obvious signs of mischief) the perpetrator might just lose interest............

Cruiser - you are a very sensible person. It is really refreshing to know there are fine people like your good self who can calm troubled waters.

Wow, well done, serves me right for trying to give a reasonable response to what seemed to be a reasonable request, particularly from work. I am no longer going to bother replying to anyone new on the forum, unless our self-elected phantom spotters have "checked" them out first. Bill Church

Yes I'd agree with Bill that you're on the right track. There is much criticism of one make on this forum, and in 4wd circles generally, so I'd tend to give anything them a big miss unless you're a city 4wder, of course.
