Dropped pin function greyed out

Update: Turned out it wasn't aorking due to poor GPS signal on my PC, all fixed.

I've just downloaded the web version of the Exploroz Traveller app. I thought it would be easier to map travel routes rather than my iPad Mini. Unfortunately I can't drop pins as the icon is greyed out. Any suggestions as to what I need to do to make it active again? I'm wondering if I need to pay for membership to make it work on the web app?
