Hi All,
I'm running 'Traveller' on an 8" Lenovo tablet and once it starts it runs ok.
However lately, whenever I try to start Traveller the following message appears and I cannot go any further,
"You're offline - we'll notify you when your connection is back - Try again"
Obviously I'm offline when in the car, so why is it wanting to go online ??
I have another Samsung 10" tablet in another vehicle which does not have the same problem, so I guess it's a setting I am not familiar with.
Could someone please offer a solution?
Thanks in anticipation,
Stephen

Stephen.
Is your device set to "Aeroplane" mode? If recently updated in operating system or program it may have changed without notice. Then it will be offline!

G'day Stephen,
I basically use the Traveller app in Aeroplane mode 95% of the time. That's what it's made for!
Only thing you can't do offline is trip routing but I don't use that function anyway.
Just make sure you tick offline maps in the "map layers". Depends what you have paid for as far as the version year.
If you still have issues maybe contact Michelle & David on the help desk.
Cheers
Stu

Thank you RMD and Stu for your assistance.
This is what happened.
When installing ExOz Traveller I placed a shortcut onto the main screen of the 8" Lenovo tablet.
What I actually did, and I know not how!, was place a shortcut to Google Play Store ???
Of course it could not reach the Play Store as WiFi was off.
Subsequently I deleted the incorrect shortcut and created a shortcut directly to the ExOz app.
Now it seems to be working fine.
Thanks again for your help.
Kind regards,
Stephen
