Has anyone experienced similar? Two days ago we were driving to
Charleville Botanic Park, which has two loop tracks accessing the park and the riverside. The tracks were shown on the
EOTopo map driving to the park, but when we started driving on the tracks they disappeared ! I tried zooming in and out, turning off and restarting the app, but to no avail, they simply weren't there.
On
EOTopo 2024, offline maps (the ones I use constantly). When driving back to
Charleville the tracks once more showed up on the map!
I placed a query to the help desk and was pretty much told I must have done something wrong (changed maps midstream, or similar). Total nonsense.
with this, the maps occasionally not booting up and the location freezing if I stop the vehicle for five minutes or so, I'm wondering if another option is recommended? I was reluctant to upgrade to the 2025 maps due to the other issues, now I'm definitely holding off, for now.
Tracks circled disappeared...
Cheers, Mark

I have just been looking at the disappearing tracks on my phone and can give you a probable explanation.
I can use 2025 maps when I have phone or wifi service, and the tracks are shown.
My offline map set is 2023 and does not show those tracks.
So I believe the older map sets either did not have these tracks or are removed when the new mapset is released.
So if you left
Charleville with phone or wifi connection and 2025 map selected the tracks would be showing. When you lost phone or wifi connection it would change to your offline map and not show.
Once you came back into phone or wifi connection it would change back to the 2025 map and show again.

I have the 2024 mapset installed, offline. Cannot see how this could affect the map set. Not suggested by the help line, either.
