Firstly my apologies if this has been covered in detail on another thread.

I have recently purchased a Ford Ranger XLT with a SYNC3 headunit factory installed.

In order to have ExplorOz displayed on the headunit (instead of on a Samsung tablet in my previous old Nissan ute) I purchasd a Carlinkit Tbox Ambient Model CPC200.
I have a Samsung S25Ultra phone.

Followed the very bad instruction booklet and the connection from Carlinkit to the headunit does not happen. Can bluetooth phone to Tbox Ambient and phone to Headunit but the Tbox to SYNC3 does not to work.

Has anyone successfully linked these three units to get ExplorOz on a SYNC3 headunit with Android Auto?
If you have done this could you outline the exact detailed steps you took.

Cheers
Mike

Hi Mike,
here's the link to the video I used as my reference.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rp_0E1vwVGw

As mentioned my major worry was that I was an Apple person and not an Android person, so had to learn a few new things.

In the end it was not as hard as I had imagined, but did take time as I was connecting to Exploroz cloud via mobile phone. Get into your WiFi range-much quicker

Cheers Phillip

Thanks Phillip
Yep, David makes it look so simple!!!
I'm strictly an Android man and still can't getting going!
Android Auto only (no Car Play) on head unit when Samsung phone wired connection, switch the cable to the Carlink unit, making sure the blue Android Auto light is on, Bluetooth phone to Carlink, WiFi on in both Headunit and Phone.
Nothing happens at all!!!
Tearing out what's left of my hair.

Thanks everyone,
Problem solved.
I just had to realise that the world is an APPLE.
Launch Car Play, then get Android Auto through that.
Don't try to get Android Auto from Carlinkit box.
Now have Exploroz displaying on the headunit, happy travels.
Cheers and thanks
