I have heard a report that this river is high, on the Mitchel Falls road. Is this so, and how deep?

Mac
We were just up at Mitchell Falls 4 weeks ago. The King Edward River was just up to the top of the tyres in my Patrol and not flowing fast. The river wasn't my concern it was the road in to the Falls campsite, just like every other year I've been told horribly corrugated for approx 40km. It was definately worth the trip as the Falls were spectacular.
Enjoy

I went through when it 1st opened, and wasnt it fun in the bauxite when wet!!
The river back then was about 1 metre deep.
this was in late May.
My brother just came back and said it was a parking lot next to the river.
I will not go back there because of this, unfortunately its a beuatiful place.
Take a chopper ride, its well worth the $90 each.
They have eftpos and visa at the falls.
