Has anybody come across a front diff lock to fit a current model Ford Courier turbo-diesel 4x4. I can't seem to find one anywhere.

Mike, try 4WD Systems for a Lokka. I haven't got their details as far as phone number, however from memory, www.4wdsystems.com.au They are at Gilles Plains in Adelaide. I haved one of these fitted to my Rodeo and haven't looked back since.
Cheers,
Dion.

I gotta agree with Dion. I fitted Locka's to my 80 Series and literally haven't looked back since. 03-8369 0033 is 4WD systems number but web-site is worth a look anyways. They have good freight rates and have always managed to get stuff to me in Pilbara within a reasonable time frame.

hi mike. well I don't like your chances because I know lockrite don't and detroit don't and I don't think arb do either. best you'll do is a rear. that said however, manu's are constantly adding new lines so keep trying. I've wondered if the rear lsd would fit in the front, but i don't know if this is practical.

Thanks for your help everybody! As you say Lokka, Detroit and ARB are no go except for ARB on the rear but this is handled by the lsd so $1800 or so is a bit pricey for the improvement. Courier seems to be ignored by Ford in the US since there are plenty of options for the F series.
So thanks again - I'll just keep watching.

I own a Mazda Bravo Dual Cab 2600, which I believe is basically a courier with a new badge...
I do have a Detroit Diff Lock on the rear and love it its bloody amazing the difference they make. I looked into a locker for the front but couldn't find one to suit. Please keep me informed on how you went in getting one for the Courier.
Cheers
Bruce
