Just wanting to see how many ham operators there are in this community.

I am VK3LRO based at the top of the Mornington Peninsular (-38.1830, 145.1169).

On March 21, I'm travelling up to Mt Hotham to partake in my first SOTA (Summits on the Air).

I have found a way to take all the registered summits from the SOTA website, and save them into a *.gpx file, which can then be imported into ExplorOz as places.

Was wanting to know if this was of interest of others, as if it is I'll write up some details on what is involved.

I don't suppose you would have any old Upper and Lower Sideband CB radios, that work, that you don't want, I am after a good working version of one, and if not, would you know where I could get one?

Very difficult to find at the moment. As you would know the propergation cycle is better than it has been for the last couple of decades and most of those old sets that are still running have been nursed back to life and for some reason seem to be getting a much higher price than brand new equipment that's available.
Like many others I recently unloaded my collection of to be repaired sets because of age, mine not theirs. The fun in repairing them goes as your eyesite fades.

Sorry you're about 2 months too late. Had a clear out of the shed and got rid of a couple of units.
