Hi is anyone able to enlighten me as to how long this track is please as per Ian Elliots book Unable to purchase till I get to Melbourne
I have travelled this area before but a lot was cross country and we spent 28 days doing 2 different loops not aligned to this track although seems to cover many of the same points For planning and permit info
Thanks

Hello

The "track" described in the book is a 1,239 km round trip from Laverton and return.

Cheers
Greg
I sent one final shout after him to stick to the track, to which he replied “All right,” That was the last ever seen of Gibson - E Giles 23 April 1874

Hearing you say it took you 28 days to get through, it must be a long distance, can you estimate it?
