Hey Team.

When I start the Traeveller CP in W11 it always restarts with no offline data. I have to login again every time and download all data, treks, POI's every time. No difference if I log out or just close the browser. As soon as session is done, when I go back, its a full install. Interesting does noy happen in IOS.

Becoming a deal breaker. EO support has not assisted on this.

Im thinking a rogue cookie (not the baked kind).

Anyone else had this? Ready to move to a new product.

I was about to ask the same question?

Not sure what deal is about to be broken either! Scant on Details. Just doing the same thing each time usually doesn't achieve much and has the same outcome!

I am assuming he means "Traveller Control Panel".. the web based version of the app.. I see it reset occasionally - I dont use it a lot.

I am curious as to the "use case" that sees the Web App featuring so prominently in the usage model for this user?

Hi Tip Toe,

You state “EO Support has not assisted” in resolving your issue? Have you logged a request with the EO Help Desk? I have never known a request to not receive an answer and a resolution to a request for assistance. Of course, if the issue is of a “hardware” nature, or with the version of your operating system, then that is back to you to resolve.

Michelle here again, yes through your Help Desk request ticket I suggested this sounded like an issue with missing cookies. Here is a simple google result for how to fix:

To troubleshoot, try the following:
Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
Disable Ad Blockers: Temporarily disable ad blockers to see if they are causing the issue.
Check Browser Settings: Ensure that "Remember me" or "Trust this device" is enabled in your browser settings.
Try Another Browser: Test whether the issue persists in a different browser.
Update Windows: Make sure your Windows installation is up to date.
Check for Third-Party Interference: Temporarily disable or uninstall third-party security software.
Verify Sign-in Options: Check your Windows settings for sign-in options and ensure they are configured correctly.
Use a Different Microsoft Account: Test whether the issue persists with a different Microsoft account.

Hi Michelle,

Hope you are feeling better.

Found it!. Well at least part of it. Seems to be a combination of factors.

1) VPN. Turned of ExpressVPN and it worked in two browsers. DuckDuckGo and Mozilla. They keep me logged in. So no full restarts.

2) Edge. No such luck with Edge. Keep getting logged out when browser shuts down. Still have to go through Setup Wizard every time I go back to Web App. Never liked Edge anyway.

Ill keep working on it, but at least I have a working solution on another browser.

Thanks for your help. Again.

Stay Upright!
