Weighed vehicle and Camper trailer prior to heading to the Cape this Saturday
Trailer was fully packed with water and all camping equipment.
Including
-Generator
-1 x Fuel Jerry in Toolbox full.
-All Spare oils in Toolbox
Weight 1.26 Tonne
Drawbar weight was 130 kg
_______________________________________________________________
Vehicle weighed 2.94 Tonne fully packed and fully fueled bar the following.
No Water in tank + 55kg
No Food and fridge + 60kg
No Clothes + 20kg
No Missus + 50kg
Total 3.125 Tonnes
GVM of Vehicle is 3.180 Tonnes
How does this rate with you guys and gals ??

Sounds pretty close to the mark, trailer may be a little overloaded, so you need to keep it in the back of your mind all the time when making traffic/terrain driving decisions
50Kg for the missus, wow are you crawlin or what LOL Have a great trip

Our rig fully loaded 3.20t and i thought ours was heavy.

What does your vehicle weigh loaded ??
Mine ways about 2.7T with all the Bullbars,
winches, batteries, storage system etc etc

About 2.20 to 2.40 just with gear without trailer, with trailer a tad over 2.0 and the ball weight is 55 to 65kg.

not sure about the weights, but curious about the LC weight as ours is probably packed about the same.
Will keep an eye out for you. We leave on Saturday from Gympie.

Hope you have a great trip too Shaz.
We will be travelling alone until
Cairns then we will meet with another couple who drive a rather elevated 80 Series. We are both towing campers, If you see us say hello.
We are staying at
Clairview for the first night.

3 Measurements were taken.
Car and trailer on the scales - 4.15 tonne
Trailer axle only on scales (Still connected to vehicle) - 1.13 Tonne
Trailer on Scales disconnected from Vehicle - 1.26 Tonne
