There are significant current road diversions between
Mulan and the
Canning Stock Route on the eastern and southern sides of
Lake Gregory.
The Handover
campsite is still open.
The Paruku Rangers have done a great job
sign posting them and they have all had a
grader over them.

The section of the Canning going NE from the
intersection 4km to
Well 51 is closed. It has a
gate across it and signs to that effect, but despite this a vehicle tried to go through a few days ago and went 400m into the
lake "because that was where his GPS said the road was" and became bogged in bonnet deep water. The Balgo Police recovered them. It was their 3rd recovery in as many days.
