Hi All,
Thought I'd post some details of an issue I came across with a Jayco Camper 2014 model based on a fiat ducato chassis running the 3.0 Litre turbo diesel.
This vehicle was throwing codes for P2563-22, Variable Geometry Turbocharger Position Sensor
Deviation - Signal Above Upper Limit.
The turbo boost control solenoid had been replaced, the 1st time most likely due to
water ingress and the 2nd time just as an attempt to fix this issue. Once
water has entered this system it eventually makes its way to the turbo actuator sensor at the bottom of the turbo. It is just this sensor that fails but requires the entire honeywell garrett turbo to be replaced. PM me for more info.

George.
I would be checking the loom plug to the actuator sensor for "cleanliness" in both pins and holes in mating connector! Particularly if the loom is loose and able to flop about in the region of the connector.
Also, the negative side of the sensor, if it's wire cable is bolted to chassis somewhere nearby. Many are in computer controlled vehicles, the Lug, earthing to negative, may be not connecting properly and causing a resistance instead of a direct earth point. If that is present, the sensor output may GO HIGH and over the ECU DETECT limit, in it's output voltage to the sensing pins of the ECU. It may NOT BE the turbo charger at all!
