tracking questions

I have an iPad and iPhone, each running both EOTraveller and EOTracker. I am on a trip north and the iPad has been dropping GPS connection along the way—ending up with a couple of straight lines on the track so I'm going to stop using it to gather track points.
On the iPhone I can have tracking turned on in EOTraveller and EOTracker. What are the consequences of having both on? Are there pros and cons to both on or just one, and, if just one is better, which one would be preferable?

I'm thinking of having both phone and tablet turned on with the next voyage(android) and wondered if conflict would be in the offing. I usually run an android tablet and a Garmin Montana device.

Won't get much chance to experiment in the mean time.

It is fine to have both your iPhone & iPad both set up for tracking. What I wouldn’t do is have Tracking turned on for both Traveller & Tracker on the same device as this can sometimes cause conflict between the two.

Just make sure both devices have a good clear view of the sky.

Enjoy your Travels
