App crashes on maps fail to load error

New head unit running android 12. Works great for all other apps. Exploreoz works but when I press the pointer to show my current location or start navigating then the app continuously crashes after a short time. I assume it is when it transitions from one map file to the next as the error is “map failed to transition” or words to that effect. The app crashes and has to be restarted. So it’s basically unusable. This is a new install and has done it from the beginning. Any fixes out there?

Have you tried setting to offline maps as the default?
