Are Discovery's still made of aluminium??

Aluminium doesn't rust.

It might corrode under extreme circumstances, especially where a hole has been drilled in its skin.(if the hole hasn't been treated as rover recommend)

My personal comment is don't waste your money.

I thought the Defender was an all ally body but the Discovery was steel panels.

Find one in a supermarket and run a magnet over it.

I thought that they are all steel in the 2005 version, but previous models were aluminium on steel.

I thought that if they mixed aluminium and steel, you would probably get electrolosys if you ran the counteract. (a fine piece of technology if it works!)

All landrovers have a heap of steel in them. Panels and door skins on some are aluminium. Tailgates are steel as is floor pans, doors, chassis and most inner metals around the engine bay. Most electronic rustproofing is a hoax. Do a search in the archives to get an opinion on it. Have seen a heap of rusty landrovers in my travels. Do not assume that they dont rust cause they do.
