Just reading the archived post 755 regarding fitting aftermarket cruise control on a Jackaroo diesel. It was suggested that because of drive by wire throttle that only the factory unit would do. In fact the Command air unit sold by K Mart is an easy fit and works perfectly. I took a few photos of the installation on my 2000 T/D auto and will send to anyone interested. email me at tmil5251@bigpond.net.au

Hi Trevor,

The factory unit installed in the diesel Jackaroo is actually fitted in Australia after the vehicle is landed. It is an aftermarket unit, but I just can't remember which one. I remember looking at a print ad for this company which claimed being on OEM supplier to Holden and a bunch of others, and showing the interior of a diesel Monterey with the cruise control switch gear.
