If you just click on the underlined locations in your question you will get a lot of info. Use Google Earth for a bit of an idea of the terrain also. Should be trek notes on Explooz as well as heaps of good info if you just search the site.

Regardless when you travel Judy, always first check the road conditions with the DIT Outback Road Warnings with the only reliable and most updated road conditions.Outback Road Warnings page

True, but the question was about campsites.

I haven’t camped along the strew , always done that stretch in a day but Montecollina bore , bore shut off these days. But not a bad spot to camp. ExplorOz traveller shows a camp on the strezlecki creek further north.

Also be aware that from Cameron Corner you need to go north via Merty Merty.
There is a track that goes across the dunes further south but it is private property and closed to the public.

Access to the tracks is from the western side of the road.

The bore was open everytime we went past this year. It is the only legit campsite on the Strez. There was one on the Strezleckicreek but the signs have been removed and we were told by gas workers not to go down the track to the remote camp.

Peter.
How long ago was that. As I said in my post, the original camp signs have been removed and gas company "No Entry " signs have been erected.

2016.
We were dodging local closures and flooding.

Ivan, was the water running? Hasn’t been the last couple of times I’ve called in there.

No water running but there was plenty of water lying around. The Creek crossing is currently single lane with traffic light control.
